Falconiformes is the order of Aves that contains small to medium sized birds. They weigh from 35 g - 1.7 kg. Falconiformes have strong hooked beaks and sharp curved talons. Most of the birds in this order have plumage that is coloured brown, grey and white. They live in the Arctic, tundra, forest, desert and coastline. They are birds of prey meaning they eat other animals. They have excellent eyesight to help them hunt. Some examples of birds within the order Falconiformes are falcons and kites.
